新しい物語は始まるよ!

Literally translated as 'New story/tale begins now!'
Specifically referring to my new resolution on my life as a 2nd year student who'll be sitting for SPM examination (equivalent to British General Certificate of Secondary Education, which is necessary in order to further your study to universities/A-levels ) near the end of this year, and as an amateur (for the lack of better word?) artist.
I draw.
Apparently yes, I do draw stuffs (mostly anime-oriented). You can check out my work here http://yuuki-kazu.deviantart.com/

Okay, we have strayed too far off from my *ahem* introduction, which is like a compulsory for every first post(probably not).

So, my name is Ilya and apparently I'm 16 17 years old. I'm currently residing in Malaysia (and I doubt that I'll move outside in another couple of years ). I enjoy reading, art, anime and tabletop video games. I enjoy learning different cultures, especially England and Japan.

I can communicate in three languages; Bahasa Melayu, English and Japanese. I'm still learning Japanese though, specifically writing system in kanji (chinese characters) which is a bit funny because I'm still having a hard time writing kanji but capable of reading it. As you continue reading my diary blog, you'll find some words spelled using UK's system. Malaysian English has a history, rooting back to the usage of British English few decades ago. Still, to be fair we have our own sets of words as well. You can google it or perhaps check it on wikipedia when you have the chance later.

There are quite a number of reasons for someone like me to be having an online blog. First of all, I've been longing to write blogs on.. my life interests. The idea of sharing things that you know is quite an interesting concept and I wouldn't really mind doing so. In the future, I may cover stuffs like video games, anime, manga, languages and others. Also, doing this will also net me some practice and experience in writing essays blog, which could be quite useful for my SPM preparation.

Before I stop, I'd like to remind that some posts in the future might/will contain NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuffs, depending on what I cover on that time (perhaps M-rated video games, Eroge etc.) Given the anonymity when surfing on the Internet, I wouldn't really know who'll be reading my blog (could be my friends, enemies or even my English teacher) unless I put some effort in tracking IPs but that's really pointless. Last but not least, I'll be using Internet slang/emoticons in my posts because.. this is Internet! Whatever, but better get your reading on those slang/emoticons done.

With that, I'm off for school.
